Learn about Caroline

My professional journey has always been driven by a deep passion for helping people improve their quality of life. As a Physiotherapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages and abilities, supporting them through injuries, musculoskeletal conditions and movement disorders. This experience has become a great tool in my practice as a postural and seating specialist. I first stepped into the world of seating in 2008, and it quickly became clear that postural management was something I cared about deeply. I have spent many years working across several wheelchair services around London, refining my clinical skills and gaining extensive experience in special seating. This exposure allowed me to understand just how transformative the right seating solution can be — physically, functionally and emotionally. My approach to posture is rooted in the belief that optimal alignment should be considered across the full 24 hours, not just when a person is seated in their wheelchair. When posture is supported throughout the day and night, we can help prevent musculoskeletal deterioration, minimise the risk of skin breakdown, enhance respiratory and circulatory function, and even support mental wellbeing and bone density. These benefits shape the foundation of my practice today. As part of my work, I place strong emphasis on comprehensive assessment, looking not only at clinical presentation but also at environmental considerations and personal goals. Every individual’s needs are unique, and my aim is always to ensure that the solutions offered are truly tailored, comfortable and effective. This philosophy inspired me to create Complete Consultancy, with the aim of providing a more personal, independent and specialist approach to postural and seating care. I wanted to create a consultancy where clinical reasoning and individual needs are given equal importance, while ensuring that specialist advice is accessible, transparent and approachable for everyone. My aim is to help people access the right advice and support to achieve better long-term outcomes. Alongside my specialist experience in seating and postural management, I have extensive experience in report writing for individuals with complex physical needs, including those following catastrophic injury, clinical negligence, neurological conditions and long-term disability. This experience enables me to provide clear, evidence-informed clinical reports that identify needs, explain clinical reasoning and provide practical recommendations for individuals, families and professional teams.

How We Can Help You

Our Services

Complex Seating Assessments

Comprehensive assessment of wheelchair seating systems, specialist seating solutions and positioning needs to optimise comfort, function, safety and long-term postural outcomes.

24-Hour Postural Management Reviews

Holistic assessment of posture throughout the day and night, including seating, lying, transfers, personal care routines and environmental factors.

Our experienced posture specialists assess each individual with a strong emphasis on clinical reasoning and personalised care, considering factors such as body asymmetry, joint contractures, pressure injury risk, body shape changes and equipment fit. We work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers and professionals to develop practical recommendations tailored to their needs, goals and daily environment. Following the assessment, we provide a comprehensive report outlining clinical findings and recommendations, including equipment choice and use, positioning strategies, functional goals, environmental considerations and, where appropriate, stretches and exercise programmes. Our approach supports effective 24-hour postural management, promoting comfort, safety, function and long-term health.
